How to keep your dog healthy? [Play time]

We as human beings can't work all day with no breaks, even if we can it won't last for long so as our dogs. They need to have a play time every day, they need something different than their normal schedule. For example, a nice walk in a wide park everyday would make a huge difference not even in your dog's health but also in your health as well.

Exactly as you like to get attention from family members or friends or colleagues at work, your dog too has the right to get more attention from you. I know some of us are workaholics but a break is needed from time to time. I was just watching a very nice movie at the theater couple of days ago called "Max" about this trained army dog who was very loyal to his trainer and soldier Kyle and the movie showed how close and intimate they were to each other to the point that when Kyle died in the war, Max the dog had depression and no one knew how to calm him down except Kyle's brother. This intimacy was created over years, this friendship was a result of dedicating specific amount of time daily to the dog and this bond of love that they had together made Max the dog live a longer and healthier life.

That's why it is very important to dedicate specific amount of time daily to take your dog out, do any activities with them, if not daily then at least make their weekends special. At the end of the day, you & I want our dogs to live a healthier and happier life.
