You want to take care of your new dog but you might be lost because of all the many things to learn. Or you want to take care of your aging dog because he/she started showing signs of aging but you don't know where to start, then you landed on the right piece of information to help you start. Well, consider your dog as a human being; what would you do if you want to deal with a new baby or an aging person? I believe you would want to provide the right nutrition for them to keep the body balanced and the health stable. So in efforts of trying to keep your dog healthy, you would need first to find them a good diet and to focus on the quality of nutrition you are providing them. When you are buying your dog's food make sure to examine the first five ingredients listed on the dog's food label as they generally make up the majority of the food. Always make sure to look for vegetables and meat instead of all the rice, soy, corn and other weak sources of protein. Also avoid dog foods that contain chemicals, flavors and artificial colors. Pay some extra few bucks & choose a high quality dog food made by a reputable company instead of buying anything on the shelves there. By the way it is OK to give your food some human grade food but of course not everything and not all the time and don't let them get used to that. You also need to make sure that your dog is getting the right amounts of vitamins, carbohydrates, water, proteins and minerals in the correct portions to maintain a healthy body not an obese one. It's like taking care of your new baby, so if you didn't clean the bowl daily and didn't provide fresh water all the time, your dog might catch any infection or any disease. Attention to all the CHOCOLATE LOVERS out there, beware of ever thinking of giving chocolate to your dog because it is contains a toxic chemical that is very harmful to your dog's health. That's the first step in the process of keeping your dog health, stay tuned for the next post!! I hope you find what I write helpful and encouraging.
